About Sundance Physical Therapy

Within an increasingly evolving health care system, Sundance Physical Therapy is founded on the concept of educating and empowering each patient to work past physical limitations.

At Sundance Physical Therapy, we recognize that each condition is unique and requires individualized evaluation and treatment. With a staff of highly qualified physical therapists, we provide one-on-one care throughout each unique physical therapy program.

We are committed to providing a friendly, comfortable environment for our clients to meet and exceed their physical goals. Sundance provides lifetime care; our clients vary from athletes to geriatric, from pregnancy to menopause. We specialize in progressive treatments for orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions and general health issues.

As Los Angeles’ premier physical rehabilitation center, our office is equipped to provide safe, state of the art, creative treatment for each client to work towards physical freedom from pain and dysfunction.

Bios

Founder and president of Sundance Physical Therapy, Inc., Massoud Mousavi, PT, DPT hMassoud Mousavi, PT, DPT

Founder and president of Sundance Physical Therapy, Inc., Massoud Mousavi, PT, DPT has 15 years of experience as a Physical Therapist. Dr. Mousavi graduated with honors from Tehran University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987. He started his post-professional studies at University of Southern California in 1994 and then transferred to Rocky Mountain University in Utah where he completed his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy with an emphasis on Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He received his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy in August 2002. Dr. Mousavi is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (Orthopedic section, sports section and private practice section). Working in the field of Orthopedic and Sports for the past 15 years has given Dr. Mousavi the opportunity to work with world-class athletes (World Cup USA 1994). He has been trained extensively in different manual physical therapy schools including:  Cyriax, Maithland, Paris and Mulligan  which have enriched his manual therapy skills.


Roman Goldring, MPTRoman Goldring, MPT

Roman Goldring, MPT joined Sundance Physical Therapy in 2005 after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from CSUN (2001) and his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University (2004).  Roman continued his education by completing a yearlong residency program in orthopedic manual therapy taught by Joseph Godges, PT, DPT, MA, OCS in the fall of 2006.  He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.  Roman’s philosophy is to utilize manual therapy, strengthening exercises, and patient education to facilitate the healing process.


Melissa Golde, DPTMelissa Golde, DPT

Melissa Golde, DPT attended Pepperdine University earning her Bachelor‘s Degree in Sports Medicine in 2002. She continued her education earning her a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2007, at which time she joined Sundance Physical Therapy. She has experience and a passion for geriatrics and orthopedics, as well as an expanding interest in sports-specific rehab and women’s health.  She has continuing education in the Schulman Rapid Relief technique as well as Mulligan Manual Therapy. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Melissa believes in the importance of coupling manual therapy with exercise and functional training to help her patients achieve their goals.


SusannahSusannah Hamilton-Hassan

Educated at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley (MA), Susannah brings her extensive experience in customer care and medical office settings to Sundance Physical Therapy, making your experience as friendly and comfortable as possible. Susannah remains your primary point of contact for administrative assistance, service questions, and scheduling / visitation coordination.
